Nick Frost’s practice is concentrated on real property law, including land use and zoning matters, water law, land acquisition and development, residential and commercial landlord – tenant law, and business organization law. Nick has been in Park City for nearly 20 years and was formerly with Jones Waldo Holbrook & McDonough’s Park City office.

Nick regularly appears before municipal and county boards and bodies assisting his clients in navigating the legal complexities of land use approvals, including community and condominium plat approvals, conditional use permits, variances, lot line adjustments, special exceptions, building permits, encroachment permits, easements, historic design reviews, affordable housing, administrative approvals, zoning issues, and district court land use appeals. Nick also represents neighbors and adjoining landowners who are negatively impacted by proposed land use applications.

As a former Park City real estate agent, Nick has extensive experience in negotiating commercial, residential, and mixed-use transactions. Nick assisted in implementing and structuring multiple development projects in the Park City area and acquired a deep knowledge of the legal intricacies involved with development undertakings. Nick regularly pilots Sellers, Buyers, real estate agents, and brokers through the purchasing process, including assisting buyers with due diligence matters. Nick speaks and provides trainings at real estate meetings and gatherings and has been selected as one of Utah’s “Legal Elite” by Utah Business Magazine.
